Current Connection 1: Three years later, no sign of missing family.

In a recent article published by Gabriel Falcon, in CNN, Gabriel informs about the McStay family, who have being missing for three years know and there's no sign of them.
Next week marks the third anniversary of the disappearance of Joseph McStay, 43; his wife, Summer, 46; and their two young children, Gianni, 7, and Joseph Mateo, who would be 6 this month.
February 4, 2010 was the last day anyone saw the family or heard from them. Police then entered their house more than 10 days later, and found eggs on the kitchen counter and bowls of popcorn in their living room.Only their dogs where found.
The family's locked and abandoned Isuzu Trooper was located February 8, 2010, in San Ysidro, just two blocks from the border. Surveillance video taken that night shows a family fitting the description of the MsStays walking into Mexico. From their clothing it looked like they were trying to cross the border.
The Southern California had been working with the Mexican authorities since this family went missing, and they had been since 2010, pouring over security videos, hoping to find some clues.
This same thing has happen with alot of people who had gone to Mexico, or had crossed the border, and they never come back. Some of them are later found death, or are trapped by the Drug dealers in Mexico. They tried to make them work with them, and whenever they dont want too, they killed them.

American Dream By Daniela Campos

Everyone in this world has a dream, not all of them are the same. Some people not only have one dream, but they had many dreams. I also have a dream. My dream is that one day all the immigrants around the world get to have all the same rights as the American citizens do, and that they are treated the same way that everybody else with those rights are treated. Many people have this dream, are a dream similar to it. Like many people out there, I want to have the freedom to go back to Mexico and visit my loved one's, without the fear of not being able to crossed the border again. Without the fear that on my way something bad may happen to me or to my family. Many people have died when in hope of having a better life they decided to cross the border, knowing that in doing this, they are risking their life.

This should never happen. All of us should be able to come and go freely, like all the U.S citizens do. They are free to go anywhere they want without feared of anything, and to God eyes, we know that he does not approve of this, beacuse we are all his sons and daughters. It does not matter what race you belong to, what your beliefs are, or what reigion to belong to. Your race or your religion defines who you are, that's true, but we all have dreams and we all have aspirations. We all one a better future for our family and our children. If we all were created the same, why dont't we all have the same rights?

Not having the same rights is the cause of why many immigrants when they finished high school, they cannot go to college, because they are not citizens of the U.S. and they don't have a social security number. Things as insignificant as being able to get a phone with a plan, cannot be done by immigrants all because they dont have a social number. This is not only unfair, this is extremely racist. I myself had wanted many things since I got here, and I have never being able to have any of those things. Why? because I'm not consider a citizen, I'm consider and alien, that the only thing I want is to be able to be free and achieve my dreams without fearing anything.

The most important problem that this issue has caused, has been the deportations of immigrants. There are people that had have babys here in the U.S. , and they immediately become citizens, but since their parents are not citizens they are deported. And the children are left here without no one to take care of them. Sometimes after a short period of time they reunite again, but sometimes it takes years, and sometimes they never get to see them again. Also many immigrants in their way of coming here are capture by drug cartels, and if they don't want to work for them, their are killed. Some girls are raped, and some are sold to people, but worst is that some of them are just left there by themselves to die.

Everyone should take concern for this, and we all should do something to stop this situation. For once we should all unite and help each other. This country is the best, that's true, there's no doubt about that, but if would be such a better one if we could all help. My dream is for all immigrants to have the same rights as all U.S. citizens do. And they only way they can do this is by getting their social security number, and being able to applied for it.
